Our Story
Emilio + Camila was created from a mother’s love.
From the moment you find out you are pregnant you automatically feel concerned about your children’s health and well-being. Thinking about what they put on their body, and the effects it could have on them. This is what inspired Valerie to create Emilio + Camila.
It all began in 2018 when Valerie had her son Emilio. His skin was extremely sensitive, and Valerie found herself using all kinds of products that were hypoallergenic, all-natural, and high-quality to ensure he would not break out in rashes.
When Valerie found out she was pregnant with her daughter Camila, she was even more determined to find hypoallergenic and all-natural baby products on the market. She found that a lot of the clothing, accessories, and gifts were not high-quality enough or would irritate her baby’s skin. As a mother, who wants the best for her children, Valerie knew she had to do something to change that.
With her studies in International Business, many years of entrepreneurship, and passion for her children’s health and well-being she decided to create Emilio + Camila for parents like you so you don’t have to worry about bad materials and ingredients touching your beautiful baby’s sensitive skin.
She is committed to helping parents discover, understand, and embrace the benefits of Pima Cotton clothing and high-quality gifts and accessories so their baby can feel comfortable, happy, and relaxed.
